Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates/Cancellations
Dear RSF Senior Center Family,
In addition to the RSF Senior Center, older adults with needs or questions can call the
San Diego County's Aging Hotline at 1-800-339-4661 for assistance.
With so much uncertainty surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19), the RSF Senior Center is erring on the side of caution. All in-person programs and classes, effective immediately, are canceled pending further notice. The Healthy Aging Conference has also been rescheduled to October 23, 2020. We will keep you updated when classes will resume, and when special programs can be rescheduled.
Please be vigilant and safe. As to not completely isolate ourselves from one another or get bored as many practice physical distancing: turn get togethers into phone dates, take time to catch up on books or things you've wanted to do around the house, learn a new skill or take a class online (1. https://www.coursera.org/ 2. https://www.edx.org/); watch engaging presentations (https://www.ted.com); explore museums that offer virtual tours (https://www.travelandleisure.com/attractions/museums-galleries/museums-with-virtual-tours), play online games with family and friends...the list can go on, get creative! :)
Please use credible sources to receive your information and updates regarding COVID-19.
In good health,
